Dianna R. Wynn
Senior Trial Consultant
Dianna Wynn began her career in courtroom communication consulting in the early 1990s providing advocacy skills training to the Department of Justice and helping attorneys in private practice refine their presentation skills. She specializes in assisting litigators with developing persuasive strategies in complex civil litigation. Dianna has been with Courtroom Intelligence for several years and has consulted on a wide range of cases in jurisdictions across the nation. She now owns and operates the Courtroom Intelligence office located in Raleigh, North Carolina. Previously, Dianna was a tenured professor teaching speech communication courses. For more than 15 years Dianna taught at various colleges and universities including the University of Maryland, University of North Texas, Midland College, and Prince George’s Community College. For many years she was also the director of a nationally ranked collegiate speech and debate team. Dianna is the co-author of three books: Working in Groups: Communication Principles and Strategies, Thinking Critically, and The Challenge of Communicating. Her books are available from Allyn & Bacon and Houghton Mifflin. Dianna has also authored teaching handbooks in the areas of small group communication and public speaking. In addition, she has been a consultant to major publishers in the preparation of multimedia materials for teaching communication skills. Dianna remains active in the speech communication discipline and is a member of numerous professional organizations. She has held elected leadership positions in the National Communication Association, Eastern Communication Association, Southern States Communication Association, and Texas Speech Communication Association. Dianna is a certified member in good standing with the American Society of Trial Consultants and serves on the Professional Standards Committee.
