Lesley Gray to Address Balancing Careers While Caring for Aging Loved Ones Raleigh, NC: Cathy Sanita, President of Business & Professional Women/Raleigh (BPW/Raleigh) announced that Lesley Gray, President of AnotherDaughter and Senior Lifestyle Services will be the featured speaker at the September 25th BPW/Raleigh meeting. After personal experience in a rehabilitation facility, Lesley decided that being a senior care advocate and starting a senior care service that addresses senior needs was how she could best utilize her skills and contribute to her clients' needs. Her experiences and observations made her wonder how seniors, many with no one to help them, would manage – especially if they wanted to stay at home. She is a senior care advocate who wants to help seniors live the best life they can for as long as they can. In her presentation “Balancing a Career and a Family while Caring for an Aging Loved One: Keeping Yourself Healthy,” Lesley will address how to care for yourself so you can provide quality care for both your loved one and your own family while still producing peak job performance. Hear how to balance the many competing demands on your time.
“As the women of the “Sandwich Generation,” many of us struggle with the challenges of caring for our children and aging parents while still trying to have a positive and significant impact on our own professional careers,” said Cathy Sanita. “Quite often, we neglect ourselves and our own health. Ms. Gray has much to offer on how we can find a better balance in our lives in this situation.”
The
meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 25, at the Crabtree Embassy Suites,
4700 Creedmoor Road, Raleigh. Networking begins at 5:30pm, dinner and meeting
