PLM Families Together, Inc. (formerly, Pan Lutheran Ministries of Wake County, Inc.) has provided housing and comprehensive support services to homeless families in Wake County continuously since 1980.  With our 27-year legacy, we are the largest provider of family shelter and transitional housing in the county and state; and an integral part of the Wake Ten Year Plan to End Homelessness. 

PLMFT provides needed services to the citizens of Wake County including:

.    Housing 40 homeless families every night (120 people per night, or approximately 48 adults and 72 children)
 

.    Housing more than one-third (1/3) of the homeless parents and children in Wake county on any given night (There were 338 parents and children homeless according to the most recent Point in Time Count)

PLMFT is one of only three housing programs in the County that accepts fathers and teenage sons.   Our program works - we don't just provide emergency shelter; we keep families intact and help them break the cycle of
homelessness and achieve independence. 

Eighty-two percent (82%) of families leaving our program move into stable housing upon graduation, equipped with the income and skills necessary to prevent future homelessness.  Our services are indispensable, effective and solve a real problem.
