Vanna Fox Mix 101.5 WRAL-FM
A native of Asheville, Vanna spent several years in film and commercial work up and down the east coast before settling in the Triangle with her husband David and dog Blair, in 1998. After appearing with the likes of Daniel Day-Lewis and JoBeth Williams, Vanna was well prepared for mornings on the air on Mix with Bill & Sheri, and afternoons with Jim Kelly. Falling into the job a few months after arriving here, Vanna started out doing her traffic reports from a teeny-tiny airplane, but was moved into the studio when Sheri returned to the show in 2002. She knows she has the best job in the world----according to her nephew Nathan, “Aunt Vanna ain’t got no real job!”. In addition to her not-so-real job, Vanna spends her spare time supporting her husband David, in his Music Ministry at Greenwood Forest Baptist church in Cary. If asked what keeps her going, Vanna will quickly tell you all about ‘her’ youth at the church and ‘her’ kids at Duke Children’s Hospital.
